It's The Best Time of the Year!!!

Are we having fun yet???? LOL December is crazy but I can't help loving it. It has to be my favorite time of the year. I've been super busy with deadlines but I've taken the time to do some shopping. Word of caution---never go to the mall on a Saturday in mid-December. Bad mistake. I don't guess I've ever done that before. I don't think I ever will again LOL

Have y'all bought a lot of presents? I always think I'm finished but then see something my daughter will like (she's so easy to buy for!). But then I have to buy something else for my son so I won't feel guilty (he's soooo hard to buy for!). Girls are just so much fun to buy for, though. Especially girly-girls.

I think I shop too much sometimes. Nah.......

Speaking of which--I have a cute little purse with bath products inside that I found at Kohl's. I'll add a book and a holiday candle for a little relaxation and it'll go to one lucky winner, drawn at random from the list of comments today.

Happy Holiday!

I've bought a few things online and will be giving some gift cards. Going shopping with my best friend on Friday to wrap it all up - a 27 year tradition - a day of shopping and lunch - doesn't get any better than that!
I could buy the world for my girls, they're so easy to shop for. Hubby, on the other hand, is nearly impossible, and he ends up with golf packages or gift cards to the shooting range rather than actual "stuff."

I still have shopping to do but I firmly believe there's still plenty of time. Kohl's is one of my favorite stores. Have a great holiday.

I think I'm done with my shopping, with the exception of a gift card for my niece and an Omaha Steaks package for my parents.
My mom and I went out of town to the mall on Saturday. Holy craziness! But, the Wal-Mart Supercenter was the busiest place that we went to.
I want to do more shopping for the girls. I love buying stuff for them, but DH says no more! Oh well, we need the money to get that darn addition completed!

I have bought some presents...but still have some left to get. I did make a list of what to get so I do have things in mind. A cold has slowed me down.

I'm just about through with my shopping. Still have to get a couple more things for my mom's care package/goodie box. DH and I don't exchange anymore. We agreed a few years back to take the present money and buy something big for the house. We shop together, and get something we are both really happy with.

I still have some to do. I have split my buying between online and in the store. I love to buy presents. Christmas is my favorite time of the year too.

I stay away from the mall unless it's early in the day and only during the week. I hear you on the buing for a boy and buying for a girl. My Daughter is 11 and pretty easy to shop for, while my Son is 4 and a bit more difficult. Good luck if you have more shopping to do!

I took the easy way out for my two grandchildren (one is a boy of 8 and the other a girl of 12), they are both in California so I went to Toys R Us and got them sizable gift certificates and put them into the mail yesterday. I could add extra to the gift certificates because I did not have to pay large postage for shipping on things that I had bought for them, and then maybe not got what they really wanted.......so discussed it with my daughter and son and decided this was the best. We have not done presents for the adults in years.

Just have to come up with an anniversary present for my parents - after just about 61 years it is hard to think of something......they have so many things.

I tend to shop all year long when I get to the city so I start out at Christmas with some gifts and then I add as I go. Have a few more to get. The crowds are unreal now in the malls. Most of my baking is accomplished. Yahoo!!! Love candles and a good book to read at this time of the year-a great way to relax.

I'm a late shopper this year. Money's been tight so shoppings been on hold. I've got to get in gear this week.

I shop only when necessary so I try to shop during the week when it is quieter and more sane. Luckily I am done with the gifts so that is great. Now onto the baking for this weekend. Happy Holiday!

I am pretty much done with shopping just a few more things to get but have to wait till payday.

I work part time in a mall its so busy. Half the time finding a parking spot is the worst thing

I have already done most of my shopping. But I still enjoy going to the store and seeing all the christmas decorations :)

My mom is the easiest person for me to buy for, even easier than my kids. I've just about finished my shopping except for the gift cards I always give to certain people.

I'm ready for the kids to be out of school, because that means I will be off work. I'll have more free time then. Hooray!

My mom went to the mall last Saturday, and she called me and said it was so crowded, the pay lines were 20+ people deep. She said she was going home and would shop after work during the week.

Merry Christmas!

I hate shopping, unless it's for myself during the off-season LOL. I'm a firm believer in gift certificates and online purchases. The internet is bliss.

I'm in denial and have bought very little. It's only the 12th...I've got plenty o' time...

I did my Christmas shopping yesterday. Got most of the presents, but still have to get some. One is hard to find, no store here has it and amazon.com sold out. Might have to try ebay.

If you think one boy is hard to buy for try four boys and one very ungirly girl. 24 yrs on and I still have trouble trying to buy something nice for any of them. Mind I did solve the problem of the 15 yr old son this year - I got him a full drum set. *pity our nieghbours, please*
