Contest!

Hello Everyone,

Hey, did y'all watch Montana Sky last night. Oh, man, that was sooooo good!!! I didn't care for the first movie but this one went way off the I-loved-it meter. The banter between the hero and heroine was fantastic.

I'm hoping they continue to make more romance movies. Wouldn't it be great to see our favorite heroes and heroines come to life? I can't wait for the next one.

I've just started working on new proposals. Karl and I plotted together this morning. Yes, I've dragged him into the world of romance. And he loved Montana Sky, too. He's a great sounding board, though and has some pretty good ideas.

I have a ton of business stuff to catch up on so I guess I'd better get back to that. But since I haven't had as many contests lately, I'll do one here. I'll give away two promo packages with the alien scented soap and alien earrings that people have been getting such a kick out of, bookmarks and whatever else I can find to stuff in an envelope. All you have to do is stop by and say hi :) or make a comment. I'll choose two winners before I go to bed tonight.
Good Luck!

Karen I loved the Nora movie too.. both of the actually and I'm looking forward to the next two. I really hope that they do well so we get more romance novels made into TV movies that we can enjoy. The movies will hopefully show non-romance readers how engaging these stories truly are and boost sales for us all ;-)

There is rarely a good movie portrayal which appeals to me, but I was definitely taken with this movie and hope that there will be others to follow. At least I do read a great deal of romance which fulfils me which I can depend upon for my entertainment.

I missed the movie last night but hope to catch it Saturday. It's been so long since I read Montana Sky I can't remember it. Hopefully I can unearth it from the storage containers and do a quick reread before then.

Good news about the new plotting. Keep us informed.

Great news on the plotting Karen. I couldn't watch the Nora Roberts movie last night because they are not being shown in Canada. Someone was sayig that they will be coming to us in the summer and I can hardly wait. Your alien series is yummy.......

Romantic books and romantic movies. I love both and definitely think they need more romantic movies.

Excellent news on the plotting. :)

I've got both movies TiVo'd for a moment when things slow down enough I can enjoy them Glad to hear Montana Sky was excellent - it's probably my favorite book of hers, and I'm hoping that chemistry has translated well to the screen.

Good luck with the plotting and biz work!

I enjoyed this movie since the book was a winner for me. Many times a book is the end all and be all and movies cannot replace the enjoyment from a wonderful novel. My imagination while reading works overtime so it is a double enjoyable experience.

I'll have to get the dvd when it comes out if it was that good. I love Nora

I also loved the movie. Montana Sky is one of my fave Nora books, and I thought they really did it justice. My dh also watched it, and was so wrapped up in it he forgot to tape CSI: Miami. Did y'all see Nora as a dancing wedding guest?

Great news on your proposal brainstorming with your hubby, Karen. How wonderful that he is so involved with your career!

We don't get them in Canada unfortunately. I would have loved to see the movies. Wouldn't it be great to have one of your books made into a movie Karen!!
Alien soaps/earrings, they sound cute. Thanks for the opportunity to win.

Hello!

I didn't watch the movie yet, but have recorded it. I have never read a Nora book so I can't say how close the movies are to them.

Good luck plotting!

I have both of the movies TIVO'd so far. Hopefully I'll get a chance to watch them in the near future. I've only heard good things about the movies. It would be great to see some other romance books turned into movies too!

Yes I did watch the show last night and thought it was very good. This one was better than last weeks I thought. I thought that was Nora in the movie but wasn't sure. Loved Charlotte Ross as Tess. Never saw the actress before who played Willa though, didn't even catch her name. Next weeks movie looks like it might be the best yet.
